WaveLength’s Loneliness Foundation Fund

WaveLength is the nation’s leading loneliness charity giving technology to those in need. In honour of our 80th Anniversary, we’ve set up The Loneliness Foundation Fund.

Two men and a woman using a tablet.

This fund will allow us to:

-respond to an increasing number of applications for televisions, tablets and radios

support research into the most effective ways that technology can help people who are lonely.

facilitate our work advocating for people who are lonely and struggle to get their voices heard.

We never see technology as replacing human contact in person.

However, this is not always possible especially for people who live by themselves, suffer poor physical and mental health, and struggle to leave their home regularly. Technology provides a window onto the world for people who are lonely and disconnected from society.
