WELCOME TO WAVELENGTH
At WaveLength our current and future beneficiaries are at the heart of all we do. We know that
our approach to reducing people’s loneliness and isolation works. We have brought comfort,
companionship, and connection to people for over 80 years, yet we have never been more needed
and relevant. We are creating better futures for some of the most disadvantaged, marginalised,
and excluded people in the UK. Our work touches all ages and supports multiple areas of need;
it brings real social impact and meaningful change to people’s lives throughout the UK.
This is a historic time for our charity as loneliness is now receiving more attention than ever
before. To respond to this, we must grow our income and raise our profile to achieve the next
steps in transforming the lives of people affected by loneliness.
If you choose to be part of our team at WaveLength you will be joining a friendly, passionate, and
dedicated group that strive to ensure fewer people feel the fear and heartbreak of loneliness.
We offer a supportive and collaborative working environment to help develop your expertise and
ensure your success.
Outlined in the appointment brief (find below) are further details of our work, our commitment to
extending our reach and impact, and the background to the role. If you have the drive, enthusiasm
and experience, we very much look forward to hearing from you.
